Artist's Statement
Clay means to me both, daily life (spiritual) and spriritual muse as well. My sources of impressions and nature around me, particularly flowers and animals, sometimes in an unusual combination between classic shapes and modern free pattern taken from different cultural sources, looking at things as I feel and see them at the very first moment. coffee

Pottery in Ramat-Aviv Mall (opening at September 13)

A pottery exhibition and a contest of pottery design, representing 14 Israeli professional potters, has been inaugurated in the attractive Ramat-Aviv Mall (Tel Aviv; 13/9-3/10, 2001). The exhibition is sponsored by the Israeli Ministry of Science, Culture & Sport. Each of the potters decorated his own vitrin (exhibition window). Zori has been awarded among 4  potters for her impressive pottery items demonstrated in the vitrin.

Some Zahara's pottery items exhibited in gallery RUAH CADIM at Jerusalem (the bluish vessels on the shelf,  in front of the shop, were exhibited in "Windows" exhibition at Ramat-Aviv).
